Is it necessary to sand my furniture before painting with Chalk Paint?

Our Chalk Paint does not require extensive surface preparation prior to application. However, it is important to ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free of dust and grease for best results. In case there are spots or imperfections on the surface, it is recommended to sand lightly to achieve a more uniform surface before applying the paint.
